How Centron Works: Fuel System, Combustion & Exhaust System Benefits

The need for high quality, well engineered fuel additives has never been greater or more important. Centron Fuel Additives are comprised of a proprietary blend of high performance detergents, emulsifiers, surfactants, lubricants and stabilizers that provide a comprehensive, superior performing fuel treatment package for the fuel system, combustion process and exhaust system.

From start to finish your vehicle or equipment deserves the best. Centron provides a broad range of unmatched benefits throughout all levels of the fuel system, combustion process and exhaust system:

Fuel System Benefits

Components at work: Detergents, Surfactants, Water Emulsifiers, and Stabilizer

Cleans the tank and lines, removes water, breaks down sludge, kills and prevents fuel contamination, algae and other forms of bacteria

Water is removed before it can accumulate in the fuel system to prevent fuel system and engine maintenance problems associated with corrosion, algae, and high water content. The water is emulsified allowing it to burn off in the combustion process rather than remain in the fuel.

Sludge and sediment are broken down and dissolved making Centron one of the best sludge and soot removal solutions on the market today

Stabilizer protects and conditions vehicle fuel tanks and bulk storage tanks - Promotes molecular balance and oxidation stability of the fuel making it shelf and tank stable. Clean and stable fuel reduces maintenance costs and can extend fuel filter maintenance intervals.

Cold flow improver inhibits gelling, reduces cloud point & pour point

Combustion Chamber Benefits

Components at work: Lubricant, Detergents, and Surfactants

Top rated HFRR score of 210-250 lubricates fuel pumps, injectors, seals, upper cylinder, piston rings and cylinder walls resulting in increased component life and lower maintenance costs.

Powerful detergents clean fuel lines, injectors, piston rings, combustion chamber and valves of carbon deposits, gums, and varnish.

Clean fuel injectors result in a better spray pattern improving fuel atomization and improved combustion efficiency.

Removing carbon deposits also removes the porous structure for atomized fuel to cling eliminating the potential for hot spots in the combustion chamber that cause multiple flame fronts, reduced efficiency, knocking and pinging.

Proprietary surfactants reduce the surface tension of the fuel creating better atomization of fuel molecules and oxygen during the combustion process. This enhanced combustion improves efficiency, increases power, improves fuel economy and reduces hazardous emissions.

The improved combustion process yields a cleaner fuel burn resulting in reduced levels of hazardous Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Particulate Matter (PM) which reduces the opacity of the exhaust.

Exhaust and After-treatment Benefits

The reduced HC and PM reduce the number of regenerations and the filter cleaning of Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOCs) saving time and money.

The performance and life of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve (EGR Valve) is improved which improves the fuel efficiency and reduces maintenance costs.

The exhaust opacity is reduced by up to 50% providing noticeable air quality benefits In vehicles with Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems (SCR), also called BluTech, the reduction in NOx in the exhaust will save on DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid - AdBlue) / Urea usage by up to 20% or more.
