The History of Orangerie

1 Jan 1707 – W.A. van der Stel proclaim the rights to J.D. Van Skalkwyk to make Orangerie the oldest farm on the North Eastern Side of the Paardeberg.

​

Grapes was planted and wine has been made since the early 1800’s in exchange for other goods as far as the Westcoast.
